Epic Offroad 500

The route is 500km long and gains 12,240m of elevation, starting from Yangyang, Gangwon-do and riding along the major forest roads of Gangwon-do and returning to Yangyang.

The route is mainly rural roads and unpaved forest roads, with occasional public roads with vehicles.
55% (276km) is unpaved, 44% (221km) is paved, and 3km is traveled by ferry.   To board a ferry, you should pay a fee of 6,000 won per person and 3,000 won per bicycle.    Creditcard is payable.

Participants are responsible for all meals, drinks, and accommodations during the event without third-party assistance.   Familiarize yourself with the course.

There are barriers installed at the entrances to the forest roads to prevent vehicle entry. Bicycles are allowed to enter during periods other than the closed season.​
