Epic Offroad 300

This route is 328km long and gains 8,004m, starting from the north to the south along the forest road in the eastern mountainous region of Gangwon-do and then going north along the coastal bike path in Gangneung.

About 59% (about 194km) is unpaved and about 41% (about 134km) is paved.

The Epic 300 is suitable for those who cannot afford a long vacation or those who are just starting out with bikepacking. You can probably finish the ride in 2 to 5 days.

Although it is relatively short, it is not easy.

The course is a mix of rural concrete paved roads and unpaved forest roads.

Be careful because the unpaved forest roads have very rough surfaces in some parts.

 

The East Coast Bike Path follows a mostly flat and paved path along the beautiful coastal scenery, so you can finish the last part of the ride comfortably.
